Cafe VillaThe concept for the Cafe Villa site came from the black and white striped awnings that wrapped around the cafe, giving it a very classy look. This site uses two frames - the top frame comprises of a number of black stripes on a predominately white background, and the bottom black frame contains the menu items which use the triangle cutout at the base of the awnings to separate each of the menu items.I continued the black and white feel of the site through to the photos, framing a portion of the photo in a thin black line and keeping this selection full colour while blurring the edges of the black and white portion.
