Shire of Chittering7B originally created the Shire of Chittering website using brown colourings to compliment their logo. When 7B was given the opportunity to revamp the site, I proposed a colour change to reflect the vibrant green of the hills and the country lifestyle of the Shire.I then chose images that I felt represented the area - oranges, cattle, the historic stone chapel, and the townsfolk, and blended them together to create a montage of colour with the background colouring being olive greens of various tints. An animated gif on the home page allowed me to show even more of the beauty of the area through pictures, and the entire country feel was duplicated across the entire site. Unfortunately this site design has been superceded by a generic site created for all of the Shires throughout Western Australia.
