Karen BontempoKaren asked for a funky yet subtle business card design to promote herself as an interpreter for the deaf. I chose the classy black front to give it a strong feeling with bold modern fonts. I allowed a portion of the image from the back of the card to show through her name and a slit of colour.The back showed the tinted pale pink and aqua photograph in context, now obviously becoming clasped hands. I then inverted the text from the front and placed the word 'Karen' onto a black strip and balanced this against a black strip across the bottom. The wide-spread text for the address details gave the card a clean, modern and delicate feel when combined with this colour scheme.
