'The Village' - YanchepI created this website in conjunction with their printed material - a classy blue folder which contained a number of loose A4 pages promoting the beachside development. As a result, a number of elements were taken from the folder to create the site. A swirly font was chosen for the first letter of the headings, with the remainder using a similar font to that used in the logo that I created originally. The square photos were contained within semi-transparent boxes and placed over a tinted image of a wave breaking on the shore.Rather than having a different look to the home page, we decided to create a strip across the top that would be consistent across the site. The site had to be quick to download and eventually will be updated by the client so the coding had to be simple and easy to follow. This website has done it's job and has been shut down - all the blocks are sold!
